Frozen continues to just chug along, blowing past even the most optimistic pre-release expectations, and even holding off the already insanely profitable latest installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise. I guess when you make a movie for $5 million with this much brand recognition, you can just print money, although this was still the franchise's lowest opening. The Wolf of Wall Street saw a modest drop of less than 28% in its second week. I still don't understand its CinemaScore of "C", but hopefully a few nods when the Oscar nominations are released (don't get me started) will keep it steady. The rest of the week shakes out pretty much like you'd expect, although Grudge Match did better than my absolute disdain for that movie had me hoping. Dropping less than 25% this week, it's now almost a lock to turn a profit once overseas performance is added in. Thankfully, it should still be minimal enough to not warrant a sequel.
